Detailed Info

The Witcher 3 has two expansions. "Heart of Stone" costs $10 and adds 10-16 hours of new quests and a new storyline. "Blood and Wine" costs $20 and adds 30-45 hours of content, a complete new map, and a new storyline. Blood and Wine is expansive enough that it could easily be considered a whole other game in its own right.

Both expansions are completely unrelated to the main game's storyline. The Witcher 3 Game of the Year Edition contains both expansions.

There's also a collection of 16 smaller DLC packs which were released for free throughout the first few months of the game's release. These contain everything from new hairstyles and armor for the player character Geralt, to new quests and new decks for the in-game card game Gwent.
